Progress Energy (formerly Florida Power Corp and Carolina P&L)
Plexus successfully guided the development of a complex RFP under tight time constraints for the acquisition of 2.7 million meters with AMR communications in three states, and the RFP for the installation of this system. The system deployment was completed in record time and stands as a case study in rapid deployment.
Unitil (Investor-owned utility in New Hampshire and Massachusetts)
This highly successful project won the 2007 DistrbuTECH AMI Project of the Year Award. This is a full two-way hybrid RF and PLC system on electric and gas in two states. Plexus guided Unitil through the process of needs assessment, detailed business case, technology assessments, RFP, procurement and early stage deployment support.
